Sommaire du poste Relevant du Directeur des opérations et travaillant en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe d'ingénierie, le Coordonnateur d'atelier – Assemblage & Production joue un rôle central et très actif (hands-on) au sein de notre usine de Saint-Laurent. Véritable pilier de terrain, vous aurez la responsabilité d'assumer le suivi de la production sur la ligne d'assemblage électromécanique, de participer aux opérations d'entrepôt et d'offrir un soutien technique et un accompagnement au quotidien à une petite équipe de 3 techniciens d'assemblage. Si vous êtes un passionné de mécanique/électromécanique, autonome, doté d'une personnalité proactive et d'une communication fluide en anglais et en français, ce poste est fait pour vous. Vos responsabilités Suivre l'avancement de la production pour s'assurer que les commandes sont exécutées de manière sécuritaire, efficace et dans les délais. Maintenir des niveaux d'inventaire précis et assurer le suivi des pièces. Identifier les opportunités d'améliorer la productivité, l'efficacité et la performance globale de l'atelier. Collaborer avec l'Ingénierie, la Qualité, la Chaîne d'approvisionnement, le Service client et les Opérations pour résoudre les problèmes et améliorer le flux de production. Conduire le chariot élévateur (forklift), décharger/charger des camions et manipuler l'outillage selon les besoins. Veiller au respect des politiques de l'entreprise, des exigences en matière de santé et sécurité ainsi que des normes de qualité. Piloter des initiatives d'amélioration continue grâce aux pratiques du Lean manufacturing et du 5S. Débloquer et guider les jeunes techniciens lorsqu'ils font face à un problème d'assemblage mécano-électrique. Remplacement direct sur la ligne : en cas d'absence d'un technicien ou lors de surplus d'activités, prêter main-forte directement sur la ligne d'assemblage électromécanique. Planifier et coordonner les activités de production quotidiennes, le matériel et le flux de travail. Former et intégrer les nouveaux employés tout en promouvant une solide culture de santé, sécurité et qualité. Encourager, coacher et soutenir l'équipe d'associés à la production (3) afin d'atteindre les objectifs de production quotidiens. Profil recherché Plus de 2.5 à 3 ans d'expérience pertinente en assemblage électromécanique, mécanique industrielle ou domaine connexe en milieu manufacturier ou entrepôt. Une première expérience légère ou informelle en coordination / soutien d'équipe (ex. : remplacements de vacances, intérim, mentorat) est suffisante (aucun profil de gestionnaire expérimenté requis). Bilinguisme parfait / fluide (français et anglais) : obligatoire pour interagir avec le plancher au Québec et la direction aux É.-U. Formation ou expérience technique : Électromécanique, mécanique industrielle, assemblage ou domaine connexe. Style de leadership de terrain (hands-on), proactif et dynamique : prêt à prêter main-forte sur la ligne et manipuler les équipements (chariot élévateur, outillage). Connaissance des inventaires et suivi de production. À l'aise avec la suite MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel de base) et systèmes ERP. Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the Engineering team, the Shop Floor Coordinator – Assembly & Production plays a central and highly hands-on role in our Saint-Laurent facility. As a key presence on the floor, you will be responsible for overseeing production on the electromechanical assembly line, participating in warehouse operations, and providing daily technical support and guidance to a small team of 3 assembly technicians. If you are passionate about mechanics/electromechanics, autonomous, proactive, and a fluent communicator in English and French, this role is made for you. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean manufacturing and 5S practices. Unblock and guide junior technicians when they encounter mechanical/electrical assembly issues. Direct backup on the line: step in directly on the electromechanical assembly line during technician absences or workload peaks. Plan and coordinate daily production activities, materials, and workflow. Train and onboard new employees while promoting a strong health, safety, and quality culture. Encourage, coach, and support the team of production associates (3) to meet daily production targets.
