Full job description
Build Your Career in Civil Construction Complete Utility Contractors is looking for a motivated, organized and hands-on Yard Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being around trucks and equipment, and wants to build a long-term career in the civil construction industry. What You’ll Do You’ll play an important role in keeping our yard organized and making sure our field crews have what they need to get the job done. Coordinate tools, equipment and materials going to and from job sites Operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials and equipment Load and unload company trucks and deliveries Receive incoming materials and verify deliveries Prepare tools, materials and equipment for upcoming jobs Track tools and equipment moving between the yard and job sites Keep the yard clean, organized and running efficiently Assist with basic equipment and vehicle checks Complete pickups and deliveries as required Jump in wherever needed to keep operations moving Requirements Valid forklift certification/ticket Previous forklift operating experience Valid BC driver's license Comfortable driving company vehicles throughout the lower mainland, completing pickups and deliveries Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Reliable and able to work independently Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Able to safely lift and move construction materials and equipment A positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous experience in civil construction, construction yards, equipment, warehousing, automotive or a similar environment is an asset.
