Linehaul - ( Winnipeg ) Gardewine is a large transportation, warehousing, and logistics company with terminals across Canada and a strong history that dates back to the 1950’s. The most important aspect of our company’s operations is our dedicated people; our people will always be the source of our success and their safety and health will always come first.The Job A Linehaul Driver is responsible for delivering freight to various terminal locations by providing friendly and helpful service to customers. Trips are to our terminal locations and return to Winnipeg. Trailer combinations include single tandem, Rockies, and L.C.V. doubles. Drivers are generally responsible for trailer pick up and drop offs but may be required to handle freight at customers’ locations. Generally, 10% or less physical activity using small equipment or hand moving freight. This is a long distance driving position therefore long periods of sitting required.
