Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator (Freezer) ABOUT Snow Cap is a BC family-owned and operated Canadian company, honoured to supply our customers Fine Baking ingredients for over 40 years. SUMMARY The Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator (Freezer) is responsible for selecting and moving product in the Warehouse, receiving incoming product, building customer orders, customer service, cleaning and other duties as required. This position will work in the freezer/ambient area full-time. Responsibilities Work predominantly in the freezer (-18C) section of the warehouse Order picking and building customer orders by following detailed invoices Receiving procedures and breakdown of incoming product Demonstrate a safety-first attitude and follow safety policies and practices while performing forklift work, stocking, and cleaning Represent Snow Cap professionally and demonstrate good customer service skills and teamwork Requirements Warehouse experience and order picking is required Forklift certification on electric pallet jack, high reach, & counter balance is required Must be able to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment Able to perform repetitive lifting of up to 20k Other titles for this role: forklift operator, order picker, shipper/receiver, stocker Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour Experience Freezer Warehouse: 5 years (required) Forklift Operator: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person Benefits $26-$28 to start, commensurate on experience. The wage is reviewed monthly after the 90 day probationary period and increases until the maximum for the shift has been reached.
