Rey’s Trucking is a medium sized trucking company operating out of Diamond City, Alberta. We pull Live Floor Trailer and Auger Trailers to haul grain to various farms predominantly around Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Montana. We are looking for a skilled Class 1 Truck Driver with experience and dedication to join our team. Preference given to those with experience in Agriculture/Grain Transportation. Position Overview As part of the Rey’s Trucking team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful transportation of grain products to various locations throughout Alberta, with occasional trips into Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Montana. This is an ideal opportunity for a reliable driver looking for steady work, variable routes, and a supportive team environment. This position requires 3 years of active commercial truck driving experience, and experience in grain hauling is preferred. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays during busy periods, NO SUNDAYS). As a Driver You Will: Conduct pre and post trip inspections on Truck and Trailer units daily and, report any deficiencies. Use electronic log’s Complete required paperwork and elogs accurately Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of the truck Handle minor roadside repairs (e.g lights, mud flaps, basic issues) Attend regular safety meetings and complete refresher training as required. Provide exceptional customer service when onsite. Operate vehicle safely and follow all company safety procedures and rules. Sort and unload products, delivering them to designated drop sites. Verify correct product is delivered at every stop. Maintain strong communication with both office, logistics, peers, and customers. Work in conjunction with other drivers and employees Our Drivers Have: Related experience and claims free experience driving heavy trucks and a clean class 1 commercial driver’s abstract Minimum 3 years of verifiable driving experience Be willing to sleep in the truck (on occasion) Mechanically inclined with the ability to handle minor repairs Ability to sit for extended periods (8 to 10-hour shifts or longer) and remain alert while operating vehicle & machinery Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team Safe work mindset and strong commitment to safety As a Company We Offer Competitive wages Health benefit package Including medical, dental and vision coverage (after probation period ) *co-pay is applicable Year-round steady work Ongoing Safety training and certifications to ensure a safe work environment.
