We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dispatcher to join our team. Shift: Morning Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm Responsibilities Plan, dispatch, and monitor 30+driver routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries Use transportation management systems to track shipments and meet deadlines Optimize routes and resources for cost-effective operations Serve as the main contact between drivers and customers, providing updates and resolving issues Coordinate with customer service to handle inquiries and concerns Accurately complete dispatch-related data entry and maintain detailed records Prepare and update reports as requested by management Assign equipment and arrange service calls for on-road breakdowns Work with warehouse staff to ensure trucks are loaded and depart on schedule Manage dispatch documents and maintain compliance Perform other duties as required to support operations Requirements At least 3+ years' experience as a dispatcher in transportation, logistics, or a similar field. Strong knowledge of transportation laws, dispatch protocols, and GTA geography is a must. Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and multitask and make quick decisions Proficient in dispatch software and GPS systems.
