Full job description
The Rentals Field & Shop Operator supports FluidPRO’s Rentals Division through the preparation, delivery, setup, and maintenance of rental equipment both in the field and in the shop. This hands-on role involves operating trucks and trailers for equipment transport, performing general mechanical and cleaning tasks, and ensuring equipment readiness for customers. The position requires a mechanically inclined, safety-conscious individual with strong work ethic and adaptability to perform duties in both indoor and outdoor environments. This position will be working shifts. Responsibilities : Load, haul, deliver, and set up rental equipment at customer sites. Safely tow heavy trailers behind company 2-ton trucks. Operate skid steer and forklift to move and position equipment. Handle and work safely with chemicals and fluids during setup and cleaning processes. Communicate with dispatch and customers to confirm deliveries, site readiness, and pickup details. Perform general maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of rental equipment. Prepare and stage equipment for upcoming rentals. Assist with loading/unloading equipment returning from field jobs. Complete basic repairs and servicing as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract. Proven experience hauling heavy trailers behind 2-ton trucks. Experience Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various weather conditions. Knowledge of safe handling practices for chemicals and fluids. Strong attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
