Position: Reach Truck Operator Location: Ottawa Contract: Temporary Schedule: Monday to Friday - 40 hours/week - possible paid overtime Salary: $22/Hour About us: Groupe Touchette is Canada's largest tire distributor. With over 45 years of experience and 40 distribution centers across several provinces, we are now the market leader. Your role: As a Reach Truck Operator within our group, your responsibilities will include moving the tires through the warehouse. Loading and unloading delivery trucks; Supervising the receipt and inspection of incoming tires; Ensuring optimal storage of products in the warehouse using lifting equipment, while maintaining safety and order in storage areas; Scanning and recording products into inventory using a RF scanner. What we are looking for: Owning a valid forklift operator competency card for Reach Truck is preferred but not mandatory; Having previous experience as a forklift operator; Being able to handle daily loads between 50 and 70 lbs; Safety boots required; Reliability, collaboration and vigilance in matters of safety.
