WE'RE HIRING!... Production Team Members - starting at $19.20- plus shift premiums and opportunities for OT Who we are: Armstrong Milling Co. Ltd. is a family based business operating in Haldimand County for 40 years. We are committed to providing customers the best possible customer service and products to an ever-growing industry. With our site running out of Hagersville Ontario we have been able to provide the Canadian wild bird seed market with our own branded products as well as premium custom-blended packaged caged animal and bird seed products. *THIS IS A PEANUT FACILITY* Production Team Member PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Retrieve bags of product from end of conveyor line and stack bags of product Bundle bags as instructed and stack according to specifications and stack pattern provided Set up pallets and packaging for specific products to be stacked Assist operator in filling and sealing bags Wrap finished product for transfer to the warehouse Complete all required paperwork including pallet tags, production reports, weight checks, and quality documents Report all food safety problems and/or quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate actions SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Actively participate in areas of continuous improvement and offer solutions to problems as required Ensure that all equipment is operating and any unsafe equipment or conditions are reported to the Workplace Health & Safety Committee or relevant authority Be willing and able to work and be trained in other positions elsewhere in the operation whenever required CONDITIONS: Full time: 40 hours per week, Rotating Shifts, may be requested to work overtime Position is physical - Heavy lifting May require working both outside and inside in warm or cold conditions Requires working in teams Plant contains peanuts, wheat, and other allergens Must have GED or OSSD Must have reliable transportation to work Production experience preferred Job Types: Full time - Permanent Salary: From $19.20 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Afternoon Evening shift Monday to Friday Overtime Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay Education Secondary School (required) Shift availability: Dayshift (required) Afternoon Shift (required) Night Shift (required) Work Location: In person Salary: From $19.20 per hour Flexible Language Requirement: French not required Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Night shift Overtime Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: Hagersville, ON N0A 1H0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): Do you have reliable transportation to work?
