BUILD SOMETHING NEW WITH US!!! North Span Freight Ltd. is a new transportation and logistics company service Prince Rupert and Northwest British Columbia. We are building our business on reliability, safety, customer service, and strong community relationships. As one of our first team members, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our success and help shape how we operate as we grow. We’re looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Class 5 Driver / Dock Worker who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on freight handling. This position combines local pickup and delivery work with warehouse and dock responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who likes variety in their day and takes pride in doing the job right. What you’ll do: Safely operate company vehicles for local pickup and delivery routes Load, unload, and secure freight for transport Strip inbound trailers and containers Build and load outbound trailers Inspect freight for damage and verify shipment documentation Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment Maintain accurate delivery and freight records Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Follow company safety procedures and regulatory requirements Assist with general warehouse and dock operations as required What we’re looking for: Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract Previous forklift experience Previous delivery, freight, transportation, warehouse, or dock experience is an asset Ability to safely lift and move freight on a regular basis Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Available Shifts – Tuesday to Saturday 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM What we offer: Competitive hourly wage of $28.00 - $32.00 based on experience Company paid benefits inclusive of health, dental, employee assistance programs, health-care spending account etc. Employer-paid training and safety programs where applicable Opportunity to join a company at the beginning of its growth journey A respectful, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement as the company expands Stable, year-round employment Why North Span Freight Ltd?
