To learn more about the company, visit http://www.wfsteelandcrane.com The Position: An opportunity currently exists for a Class 1 Driver, with a competitive hourly rate with overtime where applicable, and benefits (after a probationary period). The responsibilities of this position will include: Representing the company by carrying out duties in a cooperative, respectful manner. Moving trailers, material and equipment between shops, vendors and customer sites across western Canada. Obeying local traffic laws and working in-line with the company's health and safety policies. The Ideal Candidate: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drive test, 50lbs physical demands test and drug & alcohol test. Familiarity with the steel fabrication industry and equipment is desirable along with a good understanding of load securement and DOT rules and regulations. Knowledge of how to, and willingness to perform day to day servicing, maintenance and inspections on equipment is necessary. 3 years of Flat Deck experience, and knowledge of Over-Dimension hauling. Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract is a must. Class 1 Driver's License is required. We provide: An attractive hourly rate for this full-time position. Health & Dental Benefits after 3 months.
