Full job description
Class 1A Super-B Fuel Haul Drivers Jetstream Personnel Consulting is recruiting experienced Class 1A Drivers for a long-term client hauling diesel and gasoline in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The company currently requires at least two drivers, with the possibility of hiring four or more. Drivers will work a 5-on/5-off rotation and must be comfortable staying in the truck while on shift. Class 1A drivers will be based out of Lloydminster. Routes Drivers will initially haul from Edmonton to: Lloydminster Provost Maidstone Once familiar and comfortable with the operation, routes may expand to Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray, Red Deer, and other locations as required. Compensation Compensation is paid per load, with load rates calculated using an approximate base of $38 per hour. Examples include: Lloydminster: $265 per load, based on approximately seven hours Provost: $325 per load, based on approximately 8.5 hours Average earnings of approximately $550 per working day Drivers will typically complete two Lloydminster loads per day or a combination of one Provost and one Lloydminster load Additional wait time is paid at $25 per hour for: Loading or unloading delays Breakdowns Required shop work Truck washing Schedule and Working Conditions 5 days on/5 days off Day shifts Up to 70 hours per rotation in accordance with federal Hours of Service regulations Weekend work is required Drivers must be comfortable staying in the truck while on shift Samsara Fleet electronic logs Dual-facing cab cameras for safety PPE supplied, excluding work boots Responsibilities Safely transport diesel and gasoline using Super-B equipment Load and unload fuel at terminals and customer locations Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate electronic logs and trip documentation Follow all company, terminal, transportation, and safety procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding loads, delays, and route conditions Maintain equipment in a safe, professional, and clean condition (no smoking in trucks) Qualifications Valid Class 1A driver’s licence Previous commercial driving experience Experience Fuel-hauling or dangerous-goods experience is strongly preferred Acceptable driver’s abstract Ability to successfully complete a company road test Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance Comfortable working extended shifts, weekends, and away from home Able to work independently and manage changing routes and schedules Additional Benefits Benefits $500 bonus after completing three months PPE supplied, excluding work boots Consistent 5-on/5-off rotation Opportunity for expanded routes and ongoing work Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply with a current résumé and driver’s abstract to kendra@jetstreampersonnel.com We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
