Delivery Driver - Grande Prairie We are looking for a highly disciplined and physically fit individual to take the wheel in Grande Prairie and the surrounding service area. This is a crucial, high-impact role—you are not just a driver; you are the final link in the supply chain, representing our commitment to speed, safety, and service. Role: Full-time, Permanent Courier Driver Location: Grande Prairie, AB (In-person work is required) Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour + Overtime Expected Commitment: 44 – 50 hours per week (Monday-Friday, occasional weekends) Start Time: 7:00 AM Daily Your primary objective is the safe, timely, and accurate distribution of goods. This is a dynamic, high-volume role that requires both driving expertise and physical stamina. You will drive a company vehicle (up to a 1-ton cube) with confidence, navigating highways and regional roads in all of Alberta's challenging weather conditions (blizzards, icy roads to heatwaves). Execute pre-determined routes with efficiency, ensuring all time-sensitive deliveries are completed and documented accurately. Be prepared for constant physical activity. You will load and unload packages independently, requiring the ability to consistently and safely lift objects up to 75 lbs (35 kgs). You will also manage larger freight, up to 150 lbs (68 kgs), utilizing a dolly. Act as a professional brand ambassador during customer interactions. Secure necessary signatures, verify order integrity, and strictly adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols. Maintain meticulous delivery logs and records to ensure a seamless audit trail for every parcel. Who We Are Looking For: If you see yourself as a self-starter who excels when given responsibility, you might be our next team member. Category Requirements: Valid Class 5 License (Non-GDL). Clean 3-year driver's abstract (no more than 3 demerit points; must be under 30 days old). Must handle heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs. unassisted) and perform sustained physical activity (standing, walking, bending) throughout the shift. CSA-approved safety footwear (or commitment to obtain it immediately). Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal oversight. 1 year of professional delivery driving experience (we will provide training to all new hires). Strong organizational skills, time management, and a high-value approach to customer service. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Ready to Apply?
