Full job description
As a Trainer at TTCC you’ll be paid hourly the entire time you are working, whether you are warming your truck, fueling up, filling out log books, or waiting at the garage. And we pay time and a half for every hour worked over 44 hours/week! Most of our training team earn $80,000 + year. Transport Training Centres of Canada is the Largest Truck and Heavy Equipment School in Canada. We know the great trainers start by being great drivers. No formal instructor experience is required. We offer a fully paid train the trainer program for all new staff. Responsibilities Deliver training to new drivers Conduct student evaluations (marking and grading) and complete comprehensive student progress reporting Qualifications * Must have 5 consecutive years of class 1 experience Naturally outgoing and at ease at interacting with others Confident decision making COMPENSATION * $25/hr to start Vacation: 10-25 paid vacation days Extended health benefits effective upon completion of 3-month probationary period Time and a half after 44 hours #TDT Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour Experience Commercial driving: 5 years (required) Language: English (required) Licence/Certification: Class 2A Licence (required) Work Location: In person Benefits Casual dress Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Flexible schedule Life insurance Profit sharing RRSP match
