Full job description
Dependable Truck & Tank Limited was founded in 1975 and is, as it began, a family operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture cargo tanks, trailers and emergency vehicles to our client’s specifications. We manufacture versatile cargo tanks and trailer tankers for the distribution of petroleum products and other bulk related products. We also manufacture tankers for municipal maintenance applications. Our custom tanks range in size from 2000 liter truck-mounted units to 60,000 liter B-train unit Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and secure transport of goods to our customers while providing exceptional service. As a key face of Dependable Truck & Tank Ltd, you will represent our values through professional interactions and efficient logistics management. Responsibilities Safe Transport: Operate company vehicles in strict adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload packages while ensuring items are secured to prevent damage. Route Optimization: Utilize GPS to plan the most efficient paths, ensuring on-time delivery targets are met. Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and resolve minor delivery issues on-site. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately. Others tasks and duties as needed. Requirements Valid G Class driver’s license with a clean driving abstract. Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 60+lbs and stay active throughout the shift. Excellent verbal and written English skills. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
