Full job description
Campbell Architectural Millwork is looking for an experienced joiner/cabinetmaker to join our custom millwork shop team. Our shop produces a wide variety of millwork, from residential kitchens and bathrooms, to commercial office furnishings and reception desks, to restaurant booths and bars. As a subsidiary of Campbell Construction (2021) Ltd we also supply Campbell Construction’s sites with prefab concrete formwork, and other construction site needs. Responsibilities Operation of all traditional millwork shop tools (saws, jointers, planers…) Program CNC equipment Operation and maintenance of CNC equipment Cabinet and millwork assembly Cabinet and millwork installation Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Cabinet finishing (AlphaCam, AutoCad, Cabinet Vision) Qualifications · 3+ years’ experience in the construction industry · Grade 12 education · Experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCad, AlphaCam, Cabinet Vision or similar) · Red Seal in either Joinery or Carpentry (preferred) Proficient at reading shop drawings · Class 5 driver’s license (preferred) · Experience with airless and HVLP spray systems Work Conditions · Position based out of Campbell Architectural Millwork Shop in the Uptown area. · Position is fulltime, permanent. 8 hour work day: 7:30 – 4:00 Compensation and benefits · Competitive wage- $36-$41/hour based on experience and Red Seal, 12% holiday pay Campbell Architectural Millwork is a Unionized Employer. The successful applicant will be required to join the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 1598.
