Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory movement, operating various types of forklifts (REACH, COUNTERBALANCE AND PALLET JACK), and ensuring the safe handling of materials throughout the warehouse. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support order fulfillment, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts (CROWN REACH/RAYMOND REACH, COUNTERBALANCE, PALLET JACK), and order pickers to move materials within the warehouse Load and unload shipments accurately using appropriate equipment and techniques Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, verifying counts, and updating warehouse management system records Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision and attention to detail Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to handle bulky or heavy items efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and operational efficiency Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or material handling environments Valid forklift certification; experience operating REACH TRUCKS is a Must. (No in house licenses) Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order processing Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions precisely We value proactive individuals who thrive in active environments and are committed to maintaining high safety standards while supporting efficient distribution processes.
