Full job description
JOB DESCRIPTION - Collect recycled lube oil with a tandem axle tank truck from various clients in and around the Calgary area. Transport loads of oil to storage facility. Responsibilities The driver delivers used oil to customers’ construction sites. The driver follows all safety, encouraging and demonstrating safe practices and company policies and procedures. Qualifications PHYSICALLY ACTIVE Comfort with heights and ladders SAFETY CONSCIOUS Complete tasks in a safe manner Follow directions and procedures related to safety Ask questions to increase personal understanding Be aware of and alert to hazards and respond appropriately WORKS WELL WITH OTHERS Good communication skills (listening, verbal and written) Dedicated to satisfying customer needs Enjoy team work Present a tidy and professional appearance ORGANIZED Effectively manage time Notice and attend to details CONSCIENTIOUS Produce quality work with minimal supervision Remain alert and responsive in a fast-paced and demanding environment JOB BENEFITS After three (3) months: Group Benefits long term/ short term disability Health and dental benefits Vision care Coverall and boot allowances Job Type: Full-time Pay: $5,000.00-$9,000.00 per month Requirements Those offered the job must: Have a current Class 1 License Be ready for physical labor Provide a clean driver abstract (must be insurable) Arrive at work on schedule and fit for duty Be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship The monthly wage for this position is based on driver’s license, previous experience and certifications. $5000.00 base salary per month working 5 days per week. All weekends off. $69.00 per day subsistence/ meal allowance. All accommodations are paid by company for any overnight trips. DAYS AND HOURS 5 days per week 10-12 hours per day TRAINING & SAFETY WORK WEAR - Ongoing training for safety and job duties is provided. - Protective clothing and equipment are provided as is image wear. - Allowances are paid for coveralls and steel-toed boots for this job.
