Logistics Coordinator Mill Creek Motor Freight has an exciting opportunity to join our Team! We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator in our London or Ayr terminal to work and grow with us. Responsibilities Enter, dispatch, track, and complete orders daily. Interact with carriers, ensuring requests and requirements are reflected in the system. Communicate information as required on a timely basis and provide back-up to department during holidays or vacation. Identify opportunities to grow and develop strong relationships with carriers. Follow up Customer Service inquiries, concerns, or issues, and notify them when there is a problem. Troubleshoot proactively to avoid escalation of problems. Effectively deal with complaints, resolving the issue on a timely basis, or elevating it to the Logistics Manager. Negotiate rates with carriers and develop RFQ responses as needed. Maintain databases for rates and specific requirements. Work with Sales Department to formulate rate quotes and account profiles. What we provide: Monday to Friday workweek; day shift Company Benefits Base salary 60-65K Quarterly commission structure Weekly pay by direct deposit RRSP / Company Match Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Requirements Strong focus developing carrier relations Excellent communication skills Good geographical knowledge Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. Previous transportation sector experience in similar role Preference given to CITT / Logistics designation Experience similar role in the trucking industry: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
