Our ALDERGROVE branch is currently seeking an Inventory Truck Driver. This is your opportunity to launch a fun and rewarding career with numerous avenues for advancement throughout our organization. As a Truck Driver at Andrew Sheret Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our lower mainland distribution centres by efficiently coordinating truck related operations. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating freight pick ups/drop offs, verifying contents against purchase orders, and inspecting goods for damages. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and vendors to maintain an organized and efficient receiving process. Must be physically fit and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Operate forklift, hand cart or pallet jack for loading and unloading inventory Coordinate freight pickups and drop offs Drive and maintain company vehicle Inspect and verify shipments and documents Capable of lifting 50lbs minimum an asset Readily assist other departments when time permits Essential: Data entry skills Excellent organizational skills General understanding of inventory General knowledge of workplace safety Ability to work well with others Strong problem solving skills Knowledge of machinery used to transport and store materials Must be physically fit Class 5 Drivers License with air endorsement is required Since 1892, ANDREW SHERET LIMITED has specialized in providing a large inventory of plumbing and heating products to customers in Western Canada.
