Full job description
Dependable Truck & Tank Limited was founded in 1975 and is, as it began, a family operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture cargo tanks, trailers and emergency vehicles to our client’s specifications. We manufacture versatile cargo tanks and trailer tankers for the distribution of petroleum products and other bulk related products. We also manufacture tankers for municipal maintenance applications. Our custom tanks range in size from 2000 litre truck-mounted units to 60,000 litre B-train units. Truck Assembler Responsibilities To assemble fabricated Assemblies to Truck Chassis and Body To attach random parts to trucks ie. fenders, moldings, lights, steps, Door panels, shelves, ladders Make and Pull wires and harnesses through chassis and body Clean and maintain work space Job requirements: Knowledge in small hand tools such as wrenches screwdrivers, hand drills and impact guns Experience Small Tools Own Tools/Equipment Tools, Steel-toed safety boots Security and Safety Bondable, Criminal record check Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities New challenges with custom assemblies, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy and light loads, Overtime at times may be required, Physically demanding, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling Work Location Information Relocation costs not covered by employer Work Site Environment Some Outdoors, some At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Confined spaces Personal Suitability Organized, Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Excellent oral communication Job Type: Full-time #IND-HP Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour Mechanical assembly: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Benefits Company events Dental care Extended health care On-site parking RRSP match Application question(s): Do you have your own tool set such as wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, etc.?
