Skills and Responsibilities Inspecting and repairing Rock Trucks, Dozers, Loaders, Excavators and other heavy equipment for proper performance Diagnosing faults using testing equipment Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts Repairing damaged equipment parts Cleaning, lubricating and conducting routine services Servicing machine attachments like blades and side booms Performing major repair work when necessary Schedule maintenance for equipment Consulting other mechanics on jobs Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management Participate in discussions to plan daily tasks/look ahead Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic Must be available for Monday - Friday Work experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic would be considered an asset Experience in a mine setting work environment High level of dependability with attention to detail Full driving license with clean abstract Wages commensurate with experience Pre-employment drug tests are conducted.
