Full job description
Position Summary: The purpose of this position is the loading and unloading of customer's freight in a productive, safe, error free, and time sensitive manner. A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. Please note, licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards. Shift Availability: Nights - 12:00am - 8:30am Afternoon - 3:00pm - 11:30pm Days - 7:00am - 3:30pm Position Responsibilities: Load/unload trailers according to company procedures. Identification of OS&D freight. Completion of necessary documentation with care. Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned. Position Qualifications: 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an asset. Written and oral communication skills. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment. Criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
