Safran Landing Systems in Ajax has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Representative within the Customer Support Department. Reporting to the PSE, ILS, FAL/FSR & Airworthiness Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting both internal and external customers by providing technical expertise and helping deliver timely solutions to issues encountered by airframers, operators, and airlines. As a representative of Safran Landing Systems (SafranLS), you will serve as a primary customer interface, delivering professional technical support while promoting the company's standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Job Description: Represent SafranLS at customer locations providing a suite of technical support services to assist customers with delivery and operations Perform rework on Customer Final Assembly Lines (FALs), including resolution of reported snags, component removal and replacement, travelled work, vendor assistance, and retrofit activities. Document and report details for every intervention performed in a timely manner Be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required to support customer schedules. Participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule for FAL activities. Liaise with other SafranLS departments, including Engineering, Quality, and Production, to resolve technical issues. Liaise with SafraLS Programs for planning of work instructions, spares and tools Provide technical assistance in the field at the Operator/Airlines' or other FAL locations Travel on short notice as required, including assignments that may involve working in the field for several consecutive days. Candidate Skills & Requirements: Licensed AME, or equivalent, strongly preferred Minimum 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and other technical documentation. Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems; landing gear experience is considered an asset. Ability to self-inspect work utilizing strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions while maintaining safe work practices. Fluency in written and spoken English is required; French language skills are considered a strong asset. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting systems. Valid passport and ability to travel internationally, if required.
