Full job description
Position: Driver. Starting Date ASAP Note extra working hours are available. Workdays – 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. (Must be available to work Wednesday and Saturdays as needed) Start time varies from 5:00-9:00am. Maximum of 14 hours / day. Responsibilities Delivery of chicks to farms and other Hatcheries. Animal Welfare Training to Maple Lodge Farm Standards. Cleaning and Sanitation of Trucks and equipment. Pickup of Eggs from Farm and other Hatcheries. Must be team leader. Note a Helper is present for deliveries. Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling of racks, buggies and stacks of chickens. Customer service in a professional manner with customers. Proactive for truck verification for truck safety inspections. Documentation for deliveries and records as SOP program outlines. Pre-requisites for Job: DZ license. Record of a clean CVOR/Abstract. Must understand and be concerned to ensure Animal Welfare Policies. Work with live poultry at Hatcheries and Farms. Will be trained for specialty equipment involving trucks and tailgates. Personal Safety and Safety of other employees. Must be in good physical condition. Wage starts at $28.94/hour. Eligibility for raise after 6months. Generous Benefit program start at 3 months. RSP match availability Time and a half after 44 hours. Paid Weekly, every Friday.
