Job description On-Track Railway Operations Ltd. is an Alberta based company whose principals’ expertise spans six decades. On-Track is an accomplished designer, manufacturer, supplier and contractor of railway material handling systems and services. Our recognized experience within the railway industry has allowed us to accurately identify, develop and patent unprecedented equipment for railways and industry affiliates. We continually strive to be a leader in Health & Safety; maintaining our COR (Certificate of Recognition) as well as being active on ISNetworld. We are looking for experienced and motivated Boom Truck Operators, Excavator Operators (with third boom and dangle head log grapple experience), and Rail Car Mover Operators to join our team. Applicants may be required to work throughout Canada from their place of residence. Priority will be given to those Candidates who reside in job specific locations/Provinces. Boom Truck Operators must have: Previous Railroad Experience is preferred but not required (will train) CROR; Current Certification preferred (Certification available) Knowledge of safe work practices in an industrial setting A valid class 3 drivers license with air endorsement Ability to clear a criminal records check. Ability to pass a pre-employment D & A Test A willingness to work shift work and away from home (10/4 or 9/5 day cycle) Crane Fundamentals or similar certification is preferred (Certification available) Experience Equipment Operators must have: Previous Railroad Experience preferred (will train) CROR; Current Certification preferred (Certification available) Ability to clear a criminal records check.
