Full job description
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting Assemblers/Shop Assitants for one of our valued clients in the HVAC manufacturing industry, specializing in the production of mild steel and stainless steel duct systems. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and have experience assembling metal products using blueprints and hand tools, we'd love to hear from you! Pay $21.20 per hour Schedule Training/Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Candidates must be flexible to transition to the afternoon shift of 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM as business needs evolve. Responsibilities Assemble components and finished products according to work orders, drawings, and production specifications. Read and interpret basic blueprints, work instructions, and assembly diagrams. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately. Assist with cutting, fitting, drilling, fastening, and preparing materials for assembly. Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. Package, label, and prepare completed products for shipment or storage. Assist with receiving, organizing, and moving materials throughout the shop. Maintain inventory of parts, hardware, and shop supplies as required. Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe by performing general housekeeping duties. Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Support other production, assembly, and shop operations as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience Proficient with hand and power tools. Ability to do manual lifting Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality work. Why Join? Qualifications
