Full job description

RPM is looking for an after-hours maintenance worker. Responsibilities General duties Provide general maintenance General light plumbing, electrical & carpentry Be representative of RPM while attending various clients’ buildings Facility Maintenance Duties - Complete scheduled work orders, which may include but is not limited to; In-suite & interior/exterior common area repair/upkeep Fixing leaks, clogged toilets, appliance repairs Suite turnover – getting units rent ready (i.e. install electrical outlets, light fixtures, door handles etc.) Changing compactor bins, Remove debris Minor sweeping, wiping down equipment as required - Complete liability and life safety checks Annual unit inspections Daily scheduled inspections Fire logbook entries (daily, weekly, and monthly entries) Liability audits - Report and document all deficiencies (i.e. faulty door closures, plaster blisters, graffiti & vandalism, tile repairs, carpet repairs, pests, smells, suspicious activity etc.) - Maintain order in all maintenance rooms. Cleaning up debris Documenting supply levels, and reporting supply needs Ensure all supplies and equipment are stored properly and securely - Maintain security by ensuring all necessary rooms are locked - Ensure that all entry ways are free of debris (i.e. light litter pickup & snow removal) - Participate in rotational after-hours emergency on-call service Pay: From $43,000.00 per year Requirements Clean Drivers abstract & G class license Access to vehicle Ability to self-manage/prioritize Ability to adapt to changing work locations Ability to manage a variety of clientele Experience Maintenance: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person Benefits Dental care Extended health care Vision care
