Full job description
Vancouver's largest mobile tire storage company seeks responsible, hardworking individuals to drive the 5 Ton Truck! Tire Chalet was created in the spring of 2015 and is a family run business. By keeping service levels high and continually growing their business one account at a time, Tire Chalet has grown to the single largest seasonal tire storage provider in Western Canada. Responsibilities Manage delivery & pick up routes so they proceed in the most efficient way possible Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management Comply with all government and in-house regulations and rules Display professionalism, punctuality and demonstrate an industrious work ethic Qualifications Driver’s license in good standing (Based on Province of Residence) clean abstract No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years No DWI/DUI in last 10 years 1+ years’ commercial driving experience required using a 3 Ton or 5 Ton Truck & Operating a lift gate Have an above average knowledge of the Lower Mainland Have a positive attitude and professional demeanour Be physically fit, have a high level of stamina / energy, and able to consistently lift 50-70lbs Be willing to work 40 hours a week with a potential to work overtime Willing to work Saturdays Carry a great attitude and like working in a team environment Experience Must be 21 yrs of age for insurance purposes.
